2022 was the summer of sunburnt blush. The TikTok viral trend had all the sun-conscious SPF-wearing gworlies sporting a blush placement that allowed you to capture that cute little sun-kissed flush without exposing yourself to harmful UV rays. While the trick itself was not new, it gained traction across the masses last summer and had us dusting and patting our blush right across the bridge of our nose and continuing our across the highs of our cheeks, feeling like Strawberry Shortcake (the character, not the food).

Well, Hailey Bieber said, it's not over yet babes, popping up on the 'gram wearing what appears to be no makeup at all except a healthy dose of sunburnt blush.

Honestly, I don't know why I never thought of wearing the look with no makeup because it only adds to that just-back-from-a-day-of-frolicking-in-the-fields vibe. Bare skin and blush is *the moment* we tell you!

Hailey even captioned it 'Strawberry Girl Summer', perhaps attempting to spawn the newest edition of the viral 'Tomato girl summer' series of aesthetics. Or maybe she too feels like Strawberry Shortcake with this blush? Or she's teasing a new strawberry Rhode product, as the sticker on her nose in a later slide and our beauty assistant Lia might suggest. but I like my theories better.
